All the artwork related to these exhibitions was done in response to our stay in Mexico City . As a group, we decided to arrive with exhibitions arranged, but with no artwork to exhibit. Our goal was to complete a series of paintings based on our reactions to the sights, sounds and smells of Mexico City . Within the first twenty-four hours of our arrival, we were provided with a studio and we had visited the art stores for supplies. We worked seven days a week for six weeks to complete the paintings. The result was a body of work that was raw emotions on canvas.
